Shimon Hason, CEO
Shimon is a technology and business executive with a passion for enhancing business through technology innovation. Prior to launching Intigua, Shimon was a principal and entrepreneur-in-residence at Cedar Fund, a leading VC firm backed by investors including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley. Previously, as director of product management at Amobee, Shimon repositioned the company’s core product as an end-to-end mobile advertising platform designed for the large-scale requirements of telecommunications carriers. Amobee was later acquired by SingTel. Shimon also led the successful development and launch of a Mobile Messaging Gateway product line at Followap, which enabled leading European mobile providers to offer branded consumer IM services such as MSN for the first time. Followap was subsequently acquired by NeuStar. Shimon has an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Haifa University. He also worked as an associate at McKinsey & Company while studying for his MBA. In his free time he enjoys cooking, running outdoors and motorsports.
Shai Toren, GM/EMEA
A seasoned veteran with more than 15 years of experience in high-technology, Shai brings wide experience in managing both startups and established companies. Shai specializes in building high-performance teams and structuring companies to optimally achieve their business and strategic goals. Prior to joining Intigua, Shai ran all of ClearOne’s videoconferencing business worldwide and managed all of the company’s activities in Israel. He joined ClearOne after its acquisition of VCON, where he was COO. He previously managed the Polycom Partners Center , where he quadrupled partner-related revenue for the company, and was previously Director of Product Management at Comverse. Mr. Toren holds a B.Sc. in Information Systems Engineering from The Technion – Israel Institute of Technology and is the co-inventor of 6 patents. In his spare time he likes to ski.
